 Willow Brigid's cross from County Leitrim.  Each one is handmade with sustainable local Irish willow branches and secured with additional willow knots at the end for long lasting strength.  It is then  finished with a natural wax to protect and preserve them. These are 7".
St. Brigid is said to have woven this style of cross at the bedside of a pagan chieftain who wished to be baptised.
Traditionally hung in Irish homes to protect against fire, evil and hunger, they also mark the coming of Spring.
