Cardinal Ornament

This is Belleek's beautiful Cardinal Ornament.  The festive bright red cardinal is synonymous with Christmas particularly in North America. Because cardinals do not migrate, they can often be spotted in the winter months where their bright red plumage is very eye catching against a winter back drop. The Cardinal is a symbol of good tidings and joy as well as a symbol or remembrance. It is said that if you see a cardinal, it is a message that a loved one is thinking of you.  Hand made in Ireland.
